Boozy Aromas – Notes of Whisky, Wine, and Fruity Fermentedness

There’s something about the rich, diffusive and bubbly aroma of booze that conjures for many the ambiance of calm, cozy firesides or warm wood libraries full of leathery tomes. Aromas of whisky, wine, fermenting fruit and fine liquor may bring to mind late summer harvests, carefree celebrations, gourmand gatherings and relaxed conversation. Both intimate and mysterious, playful and bold, boozy aromas have a way of warming the heart and lightening the spirit.
Fragrances with notes of favorite alcoholic beverages are a popular variety in perfumery with compositions ranging from the more masculine type with leather, smoke and wood, to the more floral, fresh and fruity. Bring Out the Wine
Powerful, dry, tart, wine-like aroma with intense diffusiveness and notes of green apple. Use this middle to base note to brighten and provide lift, add fresh fruity aspects, and impart tenacity to perfume compositions.
Green, woody/leafy, wine-like body note with distinct fruity top notes and great natural freshness. This rare and special top to middle note is known for its unique, fruity/berry top note that is prized by natural perfumers.
Intense, dominant green/fruity, tangy, somewhat minty/citrus-like aroma with deep, warm, wine-like earthy undertones. A bold middle to base note used to modify green aromas and add a hint of animalic allure when used in trace amounts.
Somewhat sweet yet also bitter, intense, wine-like, rich herbaceous aroma with soft hay and tobacco back notes. A very tenacious, fixative middle note that harmonizes with numerous compositions, including citrus, floral, forest, chypre, fougère and Amber.
Beautifully Boozy
Powerful, deep, warm, sweet balsamic, almost boozy/diffusive aroma with leather and animalic/musky nuances reminiscent of true Labdanum. This base note has been considered a substitute for Ambergris and, in combination with Ambrette, a substitute for true Musk.
Powerful, deep, rich, sweet balsamic aroma with a faint herbaceous nuance and a persistent ambergris-like backnote. Essential in Amber accords, chypre blends and leathery bases, this legendary and fixative base note is a must-have.
Deeply pungent, warm, earthy-woody, sweet-herbaceous and smooth, with an underlying soft boozy, slight floral note in the long drydown. Incredibly useful and one of the finest fixative base notes in perfumery, especially in Amber and floral blends.
Luxe Liquor
Intense and rich with a smooth, earthy, sweet wood aroma, soft vanilla and whiskey-like undertones, and faint leather and tobacco backnotes. An elegant, fixative base note in woody and ‘whisky’ accords, Amber bases, for extending precious woods.
Juniper Berry CO2 - Organic or Juniper Berry - Organic
Radiant, lively, fresh woody-fruity aroma, with very green and terpenic top notes and pine-like undertones. A versatile top to middle note to bring a dry, woody-fruity warmth that may recall the sparkle and freshness of gin.
Intensely spicy-sweet, pungent, warm, licorice-like aroma with a deep balsamic-woody undertone. A top to middle note that may be used to evoke the ambiance of the Green Fairy of absinthe.
Fermenting Fruit
Exceptionally rich, strongly dried fruit boozy, sweet-herbaceous aroma with warm, balsamic, woody and bittersweet undertones and a slight camphoraceous note. A very diffusive top to middle note to use in small amounts in chypre and fougère compositions and fruity accords.
Diffusive, powerful, boozy, honeyed floral, apple-pear fruity aroma with soft spice and herbaceous, earthy undertones. A top to middle note that carries the fruitiness through the long drydown.
Intensely rich, sweet, fruity-floral aroma with honeyed apricot, dried raisin and plum nuances, light spicy and soft green notes, and faint animalic/leather undertones. A very tenacious middle to base note that brings to mind dried apricot wine.
Fresh, warm floral aroma with delicate, sweet, honey-fruity top notes and a fine, green, hay-like undertone like the scent of a sweet herbal liqueur. A top to middle note for imparting green notes in florals and adding warmth to citrus and chypre blends.
