    Product Overview

This dynamic, wild grown Siberian Fir essential oil has an aroma that is very fresh, balsamic, sweet, light yet powerful evergreen/coniferous with a unique fruity-balsamic undertone and a crisp, dry, pine-like top note.

Grounding and refreshing Siberian Fir, like our Balsam Fir, is yet another essential oil that we highly recommend for use in diffusers to refresh the environment in enclosed spaces, especially in the winter months. Also, consider that in Japan, coniferous forests are regarded as special places – even considered sacred – for the effect they have on wellbeing, where 'forest bathing' is recognized as a form of relaxation.[1]

Coniferous trees in general – Fir, Pine, Spruce – are the guardian trees of our planet with their dense profusion of cleansing constituents. The principal constituents in Abies sibirica are practically designed for air refreshment, including bornyl acetate, camphene, α-pinene, limonene, and d-3-carene, while smaller amounts of numerous other chemical components effectively co-create this unusually complex and exciting needle oil.[2] Fir is a beautiful addition to oily skin preparations, massage blends, chest rubs, and for diffusing while working or studying.
