Bathroom Spray

Written By: Angela Gembrin

Here is a DIY aromatic spray to help keep your bathroom -- and every room in your house for that matter -- staying fresh. For this Potty Spray you will need the following:

1. An empty 2 oz bottle with spray nozzle

2. Glycerine (An emulsifier available at most pharmacies).

3. Rubbing Alcohol or Vodka (or Everclear, or grain alcohol, or perfumer's alcohol).

4. Essential Oils

5. Measuring Spoons

6. Water

In a clean 2 oz bottle, add your Essential Oils drop by drop, with the use of a pipette or orifice reducer. Feel free to play with your blend or chose from the two scents we came up with.

Essential Oil Accord #1 "Fresh"

  • 5 drops Lemongrass - Wild
  • 20 drops Sweet Orange
  • 20 drops Peppermint, USA
  • Essential Oils Accord #2 "Woody"

  • 30 drops Grapefruit, White
  • 20 drops Fir, Douglas - Organic
  • 20 drops Fir, Balsam
  • To this add:

    1 tsp Glycerine

1 tsp Rubbing Alcohol or Vodka (or Everclear, or grain alcohol, or perfumer's alcohol).

    3 Tbsp + 1 tsp Water

Once all ingredients are added, cap the bottle with a spray lid and spray over the toilet water anytime you have to potty.  The Essential Oils will leave your bathroom smelling fresh and clean.

    Enjoy!
