    Product Overview

Moisturizing and supportive, Cucumber Seed Oil has a lightweight and silky feel and is well suited for dry and deficient skin, scalp, and hair. It is exceptionally high in calming phytosterols that support the skin’s natural lipid barrier, maintaining softness and a supple texture. Comprised of over 50% beneficial Omega-6 Linoleic acid, it helps the skin retain moisture and elasticity as it deeply nourishes. Naturally rich in antioxidant vitamin E (both tocopherols and tocotrienols), Cucumber Seed Oil helps protect the skin from environmental conditions and improves the appearance of mature, scarred, or sun-exposed skin.

Similar to the way cucumber slices are traditionally placed over the eyes, the oil can be applied around the eye area to improve the appearance of puffiness.[1] Formulators may enjoy its use in products for after-sun care, soaps, masks, creams, body oils, and in facial serums for overactive or mature skin.

With origins in ancient India, cucumbers have been cultivated for food, skin, and bodycare for over 3,000 years. Sharing the same family as watermelon, pumpkin, and squash, cucumbers are now a favorite garden vegetable grown throughout the world. Our Cucumber Seed Oil comes from Denmark where the fresh seeds are carefully removed, cleaned and dried, then pressed to obtain the oil.
