Our organic Wintergreen essential oil from Nepal has a pleasantly intense, strongly aromatic, icy-brisk, characteristic aroma with a sweet fruity top note and smooth woody dryout that can be used for both aromatherapy and natural perfumery.

PLEASE NOTE: Retail sizes (15 ml and 30 ml) of this product come with a child-proof cap and orifice reducer. However, bulk sizes larger than 2 oz do not. Per the Safety Considerations below, this product MUST be kept out of reach of children due to potential toxicity.

Wintergreen is a chemically simple oil, containing more than 99 percent of the ester, methyl salicylate - the powerhouse behind this oil’s intensely cooling aroma. Oil of sweet Birch (Betula lenta) also contains an abundance of methyl salicylate and, depending on global trade and availability, these two oils are often mistakenly sold interchangeably.
