Product Overview

Our organic Palmarosa has a smooth, fresh, sweet-grassy, mild rosy-geraniol aroma with delicate citrus zest top notes. Cymbopogon martinii comes from the same botanical family as Lemongrass and Citronella and is native to India and Pakistan; it now grows in Africa, Indonesia, Brazil, and the Comoro Islands.[1]

This is the grass that aspires to be a Rose – and at a fraction of the cost! With its rich distribution of Rose alcohols, Rose esters and Rose aldehydes, Palmarosa is truly underappreciated for both its complex aroma and the generally beneficial properties inherent in this arrangement of molecules. It is useful in skincare, particularly for dry or imbalanced skin, and for this reason is exceptionally beautiful in facial serums and soaps.

June means Lavender season is in full swing! The sun sits high in the sky, bees drift lazily between blossoms, endless rows of violet stretch across gently sloping hills, and the air is saturated with the unmistakable scent of sweet floral herbaceousness.
