Amber Essence Oil

this is like amber pure and simple but this is more deep and rich! i can detect ambergris, vanilla, wood, and a bit of agarwood. amazing!

I live in Australia and don't order things directly from Eden Botanicals that often as delivery is unfortunately so expensive, but I got a sample vial of this a long time ago and had been thinking of it on and off ever since. Sometimes 'amber-y' smells can be overwhelming/overpowering (also sometimes too smoky or too powdery) but this stuck out in my mind as 'just right' and its format as a natural fragrance dispersed in oil appealed to me as it can be mixed with moisturisers and whatnot. Incredibly, I recently discovered a domestic vendor of the 8.5mL bottles, and ordered promptly. It arrived yesterday, and all I can say is that, if you like woody, warm, vanillic smells, this is completely unmissable. It's like smelling some kind of wonderful tree, but a tree where one sniff is so incredibly moreish that you cannot stop smelling it afterwards. It has that kind of old book smell mixed with the smell of rich but (to me) unidentifiable aromatic woods/resins. Sweet, warm, ambiguous notes, just the right sense of 'powder' without being cloying and off-putting to me as someone who can be easily turned off by that kind of thing. Fascinating to me as an admittedly somewhat fragrance-inexperienced person that something this creative was able to be assembled successfully from such a mixture of natural aromatics. The smell stays close to the skin but, on the other hand, endures for quite some time. It smells rich, beautiful, and natural. Enthusiastically recommend trying this, and I look forward to mixing it with creams in order to more fully envelop myself in it! Hahaha

I have used Amber Essence oil from Eden Botanicals since 2003. It is my favorite fragrance! It is a gentle, warm, inviting aroma and it makes me happy when I smell it. I can honestly say that I have carried the 1/3 oz around with me every day in my purse since I first purchased it. And I keep a bottle on my night stand. Thank you Eden Botanical for carrying superior products!
