Mellow blend, warm and comfy

I must admit upfront, I bought an older version of this blend from another source. It is much darker than the bottle pictured here, so it has either aged a lot or the recipe has changed a bit. I detect the sandalwood and vanilla notes very powerfully, which delights me, those being two of my favorite scents ever. You have to chuckle that the only complaints here are just that we want more sandalwood, kind of like saying we want more Game of Thrones, but there's only so much they can give us. I suggest buying a big bottle and letting half of it age for as long as you can hold on to it. Sandalwood just gets more nuanced and complex, rounder and fuller. Patience is a virtue.

Wonderful Smell

The first time I smelled it I did not like something in the blend. But I took another few whiffs and it grew on me. I then added more sandalwood and fell in love.

Sandalwood in the hood!

I read all the other reviews before ordering a sample. I have to say... I smell the sandalwood, pretty strong too- for hours! How can people say this is weak? It is heavily diluted, that's for sure but not weak... It could be because I emptied the entire sample in my palms and rubbed it all over my body. It's pure heaven. Woody to the bone!

This is a great quality oil, and I love Sandalwood. However the sandalwood scent is a bit weak, and there is something in in it that I don't care for maybe cedarwood ? But If you add some good pure sandalwood to this I think it will help.
