Eden Botanicals LLC seeks:

POSTITION: Sales Account Representative – Cosmetics and Fragrances

DUTIES: Responsible for promoting Biolandes products in North America with a direct relationship to
the final users of our products – including cosmetic brands, fragrance and flavor house and well-being
brands. Day-to-day duties and responsibilities involve the following:

  • Conquering new market shares:
    • Attain new prospects and lead in regard to the company strategy
    • Find and develop new business with current customers
  • Maintain customer portfolio:
    • Understand and coordinate customer needs in regard to customer service, regulator, R&D requirements
    • Update and negotiate the pricing
    • Follow up and investigate on the businesses that are late or lost
  • Reporting
    • Report the sales and different variations
    • Coordinate the pipeline of projects of business development
    • Update the production forecasts
    • Provide regular updates on the activity, the business trips, the email campaigns, etc.
  • Marketing actions
    • Take part in the marketing strategy with the Sales Director and the marketing team
    • Take part in tradeshows and professional events
  • R&D Project Administration
    • Coordinate new product development between customers and Biolandes R&D Services
  • Other
    • Organize work to keep a constant presence with the key accounts while being very reactive to all the customers’ requests
    • Apply good presentation and writing skills
    • Adapt to each customer environment
    • Perform frequent business trips 25% of the time to clients throughout the U.S.
    • Schedule will be Hybrid (currently 60% in office and 40% remote)

REQUIREMENTS: 3 years of experience as a salesperson in a business-to-business industry. Experience in/with the following:

  • Manufacturing process of a natural ingredient for a perfume or cosmetic product
  • Regulations around the perfume and fragrance industry
  • The North America Fragrance, Aromatherapy, and Cosmetic market
  • Skin biology
  • Olfactory descriptors
  • IT tools such as Microsoft Office and Sales Force;
  • Sales methods such as SPIN, CAB as well as prospection processes;
  • Coordinating project development with people inside (i.e. R&D, Production etc.) and outside the organization (i.e. Different customers/prospect services)
  • Analyzing markets and establishing business plans
  • Manufacturing processes, sales, R&D, purchasing, shipping, sampling, design and database systems
  • Business travel required 25% of the time to clients throughout the U.S.
  • Schedule will be Hybrid (currently 60% in office and 40% remote)

HOURS: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
