Orange Essence Oil EO

Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck

(0)

Orange Essence Oil is distinct from other orange oils that are cold pressed from the peels – in this case the juice is cold pressed from sweet oranges yielding a fragrant watery pulp that is then centrifuged. In the final step, the essence oil is obtained via evaporation.

Product Overview

As usual, limonene is the primary constituent of this citrus fruit oil, but along with its complement of sister terpenes, the bright aroma is supported by a tiny army of charming lemony aldehydes that lend tenacity to this volatile top note – a desirable natural perfumery benefit that cold pressed orange peel oils do not share to the same degree.
