- Lovely blonde tobacco leaf! Review by canas

Rating This absolute is quite on point, it doesnt smell like cigarretes, the smell could be close to something like honey. Smells like a blonde tobacco leaf, creamy and delicious!(Posted on 5/10/2023)
- Nice enough, but not quite what I had hoped Review by Alan

Rating This tobacco absolute does smell quite strong, straight, but I immediately made a 1/10th dilution of it with perfumer's alcohol, and it seems oddly much subdued at that dilution. It is also not nearly as tenacious as I would have expected, and I would definitely consider this more of a middle note than a base note.(Posted on 1/11/2019)
My biggest problem with this absolute, though, is its intense dark color, which even at the 1/10th dilution is a deep, dark, oily yellow. I fear that using enough of this to really notice its aroma in a personal fragrance would make a very colored solution that would easily stain clothing (note that the same is true of Eden's Ginger CO2).
- Nice smell but doesn't seem to last long Review by Linda

Rating It is a nice tobacco smell. It is not like cherry or maple syrup or any of the other things that pass for tobacco. It smells like wet tobacco which is lovely. But oddly, it doesn't last.(Posted on 2/26/2018)
I'd been warned that tobacco scent would permeate everything but this certainly doesn't seem to be the case.
I'm new to this so any tips would be welcome.
- Fine pipe tobacco and fresh opened pack of smokes Review by MD

Rating Sweet and tart like the real deal. I really love the waxy notes I think of when smelling this. Ahhhhhh, glorious and balmy syrup!! Goes with just about anything.(Posted on 1/19/2017)
- Absolutely gorgeous tobacco Review by James E.

Rating I use this tobacco absolute in several of my perfumes: I’ve paired it with woods, balsams, spices, florals, and coffee. Tobacco is a wonderful base note that adds incredible depth with the slightest lift of sweetness. If you are looking for a tobacco reminiscent of pipes or cigarettes, this absolute is a perfect building block in your accords.(Posted on 12/11/2016)
- Spot on scent Review by Jericho

Rating Just received my tobacco absolute in the mail, shipping was much faster than I expected. There are many various tobacco scents, I was looking for a cigar tobacco scent but this is not it. However, it smells exactly like chewing tobacco. It takes me straight back to my RedMan gold blend chewing days. It is spot on sweet, moist chewing tobacco. I am pleased with it, despite it not being the cigar scent I was looking for. I just mixed it into a fresh batch of beard oil, it's going to sit for a few weeks to let the oils marry and give a truer sense of its final scent.(Posted on 11/1/2016)
- Love it! Review by BETH

Rating I love this! One whiff and I can see my father with his pipe (from fifty years ago.) It is a beautiful smell.(Posted on 2/18/2016)
- Exactly What I Wanted Review by Liz

Rating I am very pleased with the scent of this absolute. It smells just as you would assume it would, like cured tobacco leaf. It is a bittersweet smell (I can almost taste the bitterness), but it is not at all unpleasant, it brings to mind unsweetened chocolate. It also has a dry grass sweetness that I really enjoy. I will definitely buy this again.(Posted on 2/16/2016)
- This guy's the winner! Review by John

Rating This is one of my very favorite scents.(Posted on 1/11/2016)
I've used it alone, and enjoyed the way it develops over time.
My favorite application is with tonka bean, hay, and a drop of cocoa absolute. I have been very carefully using it, but its time to order more and I am doing so without hesitation.
Brings me to a shop in the Adirondacks where I remember standing at about 10 years old, sniffing every single jar of pipe tobacco in the place.
This one is a powerful memory-triggering, warm, sweet, deep scent. Thanks, Eden!
- High Quality Stuff! Review by anonymous

Rating Oh GOODNESS! I love this stuff.(Posted on 11/9/2015)
You know, having read so many pyramids for different fragrances, and seeing tobacco listed as a note I thought, "what is so special about tobacco?". I just truly thought it was one of those overrated notes like Oud, for instance.
Man oh man, upon sampling this I can see why so many perfumes include it. It smells exactly like tobacco, but not with any negative qualities that you would normally think would be associated with it. This is quality stuff here.
It is narcotic and has a raisin-like sweetness to it and is very deep. I can see how this would add some serious depth to a fragrance blend and round it off, especially gourmands or any kind of oriental. Even woods too.
I will definitely be considering this for future use.
