Rating I liked the organic extract, but this has a more intense aroma that pulls you in. Another interesting fact is unlike the Rose Absolutes which are reddish orange in color, this is green! (little darker green than the organic extract)(Posted on 3/13/2021)

Rating that is my favorite rose out off all the choices on this website. It is very soft, has a bit of tea smell to it. Just beautiful and sophisticated. The closest to an actual rose. The Rose de mai extract is pretty bad...not sure what to even do with it... definitely not for use on its own.(Posted on 11/22/2020)

Rating it started off very smokey, then slightly woody, but dries down to a sweet warm creamy rose. interesting. I wanted to like the rose de mai extract so much, but I prefer this absolute to the extract.(Posted on 11/10/2018)
- Stunning Review by KM

Rating After reading the reviews, I had to add a more current review to do justice to this stunning oil. Fresh, green, lightly sweet, silky, seductive rosy floral. It's rose but also has a much more ethereal quality. Complex but light. It's a gorgeous light greenish color. I'm not usually crazy about rose but this one is now one of my prized scents to use for perfumery.(Posted on 4/12/2018)
- A decidedly smokey smell :-( Review by ysgb

Rating This was one of those experiences that reminds me how important it is to buy a small sample if relatively expensive. What I bought this '15 summer has a decidely smokey smell to it, really not what I would call "fresh or vibrant." Rose scent is there but with a strong woody smoke addition, not what I expected.(Posted on 11/14/2015)
- These are the roses you know from a warm spring day. Review by DrJeanPD

Rating This is my favorite rose note - it is fresh and vibrant, the breath of Joie de vivre. It brightens blends that are sultry and maybe a little too deep, lifting them up and making them just right for day-to-day enjoyment.
