The first petitgrain sur fleurs had a distinct neroli note to it. The recent offerings do not have this. I wish they would bring back the neroli note batch. This is a good petitgrain, just not a lot different from regular petitgrain.

My first experience with this was sublime. That hint of sweet neroli and petitgrain made it my favorite for awhile. The last two bottles I got of this do not smell as nice. More of a burnt smell without the note of neroli. Disappointing.

This is my favorite of all petitgrain oils to use in my blends. It imparts a sweeter, less harsh quality to top notes, with fewer green nuances, and enhances orange flower notes with a hint of lush neroli. I can't recommend it enough!

Hi,

I Absolutely love this, I normally mix more neroli and less petitgrain however this is the first time sampling Petitgrain sur fleurs and I like it better even with the much less neroli (fleurs).

I am wondering what the percentages are for flowers vs twigs/leaves in this for future comparisons and replica of blends, I assume with each batch different ratios?

I have this and the Bigarade Petitgrain. This is of course the sweeter and more floral of the two and a bit stronger overall. It's a little more citrusy, but it also shares those notes of vegetables and geranium that I pick up in Bigarade as well.

This particular Petitgrain is notorious for possessing not only the green leaf and woody twig notes of the other Petitgrains but also is distilled with some flowers (fleurs) which aren’t normally distilled and which may account for a slightly damp, waxy green smell. We're sorry this one wasn't to your taste Joy!

I purchase this petitgrain sur Fleurs and to my nose there is an very unpleasant green plant material smell. I'm very surprise that EB purchase it and offered to us. I'm sorry to say this one is not a winner!

This oil is amazing! It is citrus fruit, soft green leaves and floral. This clearly DOES have flowers added to the still. As close to a inexpensive replacement for a Neroli oil as any petitgrain I have sampled. I agree with Lisa - this is not sharp at all, and only a little bit "green" like a petitgrain oil should be.
