Rating I love the artemisia family, but had not heard of this species. So I bought some and am glad I did! The smell is just amazing. It makes me really energized and happy.(Posted on 12/14/2020)
- Gorgeous smell. Review by David Lincoln

Rating Davana is an herb, but it yields an amazing scented oil that smells of fruit... I am reminded of juicy peaches and raspberry, with a very slight minty undertone. This could be marvelous in quite a number of scent blends.(Posted on 6/15/2020)

- Powerful !! Review by Juan Manuel

Rating I have this Davana in a 5% alcohol solution ... very powerful and almost can not be mastered in a mixture, be careful if you do not want to overwhelm a perfume with this powerful davana .. in low doses it smells of dry red wine, narcotic aroma Sweet nuts very concentrated .. is a soft note in Black XS men by Paco Rabanne .. I like but retired. LOL(Posted on 8/1/2018)

- Heaven on Earth Review by Sandy

Rating I had never heard of Davana and came across it while researching aphrodisiacs. I love this stuff so much that I am nearly out of my mind. It has fast become one of my favorite oils. I was put off a bit at first but the dry down is so amazing. I literally can't stop smelling myself and went out purposefully to show off my new smell. I mixed it with something that didn't seem to go together but the results are amazing. Addictive.(Posted on 6/30/2017)
- Awesome stuff Review by Rebecca

Rating This davana is addictive if you ask me. Like spilling sangria on yourself, then shrugging rather than changing your clothes, because it just smells hedonistic and happy. Totally fruity and boozy. The wine element smells like good wine, too--not like cheap wine. Despite that fine aged quality, there is also a tartness and freshness that keeps this from becoming a hangover. Not sure what this blends well since I like it so much on its own, but I imagine it will brighten and lift many vetiver and patchouli blends, and swirl well with citrus, osmanthus, and other heady florals. No wonder this was used to honor Shiva! It feels delightfully irreverent(Posted on 11/5/2016)
and out to demolish all fustiness.
- Gorgeous and unexpected Review by Nic

Rating I ordered a sample of davana as I thought it might have a good place in an amber-type blend I have been working on. The ripened fruit that other reviews have noted is definitely the first impression, followed by wine, cocoa, and tobacco-like notes with enough of a greenness to keep it feeling light and ensure that it doesn't overwhelm. But what really caught me was a quality often ascribed to cassie absolute-- to my nose, a definite "naughty" and erotic quality. Yes, this is what I was looking for! I will be buying more.(Posted on 6/7/2016)
- Ripened fruit Review by Pam
-
Rating I'd never smelled davana before and had no idea what to expect other than "fruity." Whoa, is this one STRONG scent! In the bottle, it's all overripened fruit - think just one step away from the compost heap! Diluted heavily in carrier oil, that ripe fruit is still there, but there is a very strong, almost sherry like boozy component. This is a very interesting scent and one that begs to be blended and experimented with.(Posted on 8/9/2015)
- Develops with time Review by OilLover

Rating The sweet note hits you first. But it grows into a fruity, herbal and slightly floral scent. It changes with time and smells different on each person. On my friend, it definitely smells different than it does on me. So I think its best to wear it for a day or so to see how it develops on you and then use it in a blend.(Posted on 9/19/2014)
