- gorgeous fixative Review by J

Rating Absolutely beautiful! I will echo what was said in a review below - I also was able to blend this gorgeous sample in a fixed carrier oil. The absolute and carrier oil started to separate after 12 days, but that was easily remedied by a quick shake. 10% seems to be the sweet spot with this absolute\oil mixture, anything higher and you are likely to run into further solubility issues.(Posted on 12/28/2017)
I will be using this as as a fixative in blends, the sclareol content is a dream! Clary sage absolute is not a strong smelling oil at first sniff, but it has amazing longevity and really rounds out my scents.
Very pleased with the quality, as always!

Rating After working with this I can't imagine using normal Clary Sage EO....This stuff is phenomenal....Earthy, Sweet and woodsy with slight musky undertones.....Super Tenacious...Lasts hours on the skin alone!....Great job Eden!(Posted on 4/4/2017)
- DISSOLUTION COMPLETE! Review by MD

Rating Wow, it's everything I wanted and more! The Sclareol content is amazing, I liquid dream come true! Sweet, Tobac-Tea richness, lightly herbal, and velvety! You can almost smell the furry little hairs on the leaves! I can't stop sniffing and analyzing how gorgeous this material is too. Super uplifting and definitely euphoriant. Can be kinda mysterious in the way that the scent is so heavy some people might hardly notice it, until close like a hug or kind greeting you get drawn in. Magnifies your own skins scent very nicely adding a kick like most musks or musky ingredients. Nothing dirty,(Posted on 12/19/2016)
Next, it's great in Fractionated Coconut oil!! Even though Eden says it imparts its aroma, I got lucky and had a complete dissolution of the whole absolute.
In a clean, unused Eden 1/16 oz bottle I placed 1 ml FCO.
In a bowl I microwaved about a quarter inch or so of water for a minute to 45 seconds depending on how hot the bowl is.
Filled the Clary Sage sample bottle with .75 ml FCO. I used a toothpick to mash it all together. Getting super close to complete dissolution, I added it to the hot water. I recommend boiling water or a hot plate. Depending how important temp control is or you don't like/have microwave.
Long story short, the part of the house my oils are in, drops well below 50 degrees and even lower. So this even holds the sclareol in suspension during extreme cold!
Would add more star if possible..
