Very lovely Review by Caine
This is a very green scent- when you get it, you don't think of violets. However, when you blend it with other scents, it definitely opens up. It's like sitting in the grass and violet patches and smelling the fresh leaves while catching top notes of violet after a while as it dries down. It's very faint, floral and overall, a 'sweet' scent. I absolutely love it. Even if you don't think you're going to need it, definitely pick it up- you'll be amazed at its flexibility and the boost it gives to most scents. (Posted on 5/23/13)
Very Fresh! Review by Michele
I agree with others who said this scent is very 'green', almost botanical. I think it would mix well with some fruit notes and add brightness. This is the first violet absolute I have tried. I think a little will go a long way. (Posted on 5/8/13)
"Green" in a bottle Review by SW
This is an amazing absolute, the essence of "green" in a bottle! I even smell a bit of the flower in the dry down. A must for any natural perfumer or lover of deep green scents. (Posted on 4/30/13)
Fresh Spring in a Bottle Review by Florence
It took me a bit of time to really appreciate Violet Leaf. At first, it was just "too green". Now that I have spent time with it I completely appreciate its "green-ness". It brings to mind the first hint of Spring when the grass starts to become green again, the trees start budding, the daffodils and tulips start blooming, the forsythia mimics the sunshine . . . you get the point. This is a wonderful item. Check out the 10% if you're shy. (Posted on 4/30/13)
