Overview

Tuberose Absolute

The Pre-Columbian Indians of Mexico first domesticated the Tuberose, one of the most fragrant of all flowers. It was one of the first plants introduced to the Old World from Mexico.

By the late 19th century, notable quantities of Tuberose were under cultivation in Grasse, France, where the absolute of the flowers was extracted by the "enfleurage" method. Besides France, the plants are currently cultivated in Morocco, Egypt and India.

Tuberose Absolute has a well-established reputation for use in fine fragrances and perfumery. This sensuous deep orange-golden brown oil has a warm, very sweet, "plump" and most intoxicating floral aroma with peach leaf and soft spice-like background notes.

Our Tuberose Absolute is a perfumer's specialty oil and not to be missed. We highly recommend this one!

Customer Reviews

Voluptuous floral Review by Sara
The tuberose absolute is one of my favorites, narcotic and slightly animalic. I like this cut with a bit of jojoba on its own as a perfume, and also in blends. (Posted on 5/1/13)
Tuberose Abs, delicate floral with spice and smoke Review by Hemla
This Tuberose Abs is absolutely beautiful: a delicate floral, with a spicey, smokey - not burnt presence. It has a special animal aspect to the floral, sweet with some woody nuances coming out towards drydown. That's at least what I detected in my evaluation of it. I love it, and since I understand tuberoses can varry widely in thier smokey/burnt aspect, I am not risking trying other sources at this point, because I am utterly in love with Eden's tuberose. Intense and Delicious Review by Dana
This tuberose absolute is an intense, rich and delicious combination of sweet, floral and spice; it stands as an amazing base note to several of my ceremonial and aphrodisiac blends. (Posted on 4/29/13)
