Orange Blossom Water Absolute
This is one fantastic aromatic oil. It is actually extracted from the distillate water (hydrosol) left over from the distillation of Neroli essential oil. It turns out that about 25% of the essential oil from Neroli distillation remains in the hydrosol.
Orange Blossom Water Absolute is thus extracted from the Neroli floral water. It is a hard to find yet superb oil for use in perfumery. It has similarities with, yet is unique from, Neroli and Orange Blossom absolute. Eden Botanicals highly recommends this oil to all natural perfumers.

- This sounded gorgeous. Unfortunately it smells awful. Like garbage and chemicals, and oddly fishy. I have to say I'm shocked this is being sold as something to use in perfumery. (Posted on 5/26/13)
