Eden Botanicals carries a few essential oil accessories that are useful in the process of blending essential oils, natural perfumes and the like. Our fragrance test strips are made of blotter type paper and are used to evaluate essential oils or other aromatic oils and extracts, as well as to evaluate an oil blend that you have made yourself.
Our pipettes are plastic and graduated, and are used to measure essential oils either by the ml or by the drop. You can reuse these pipettes/droppers for the same oil, but they are not suitable for washing and using for different oil or oil blends.
Plastic Droppers

Fragrance Test Strips
Top of PageFragrance Test Strips are a very useful essential oil / aromatherapy / natural perfumery accessory. In order to sample aromatic oils we recommend using these paper test strips rather than smelling directly from the bottle. This is particularly important if you are comparing several different oils of the same type, or if the oil you are evaluating is in a large bottle. While the nose and your sense of smell is one of the most important tools of the aromatherapist and natural perfumer, it is an imperfect instrument. By using fragrant test strips you will be able to more accurately evaluate oils for quality, adulteration and lasting power.
